The quietest trail holds the most secrets
A path beside home calls to a curious boy. Guided by his older friend, a local woodcutter, he enters the forest and learns to see, hear, touch, smell and feel the living world around him.

A story you can almost touch
Every spread changes rhythm: full-page scenes, hand-drawn discoveries, surprising typography and small facts that invite children to stop, ask and look again.

Every young explorer belongs
Joy’s stories welcome boys and girls to explore side by side, each in their own way. The light square format is easy to hold, share and read together — at home, in class or under a favorite tree.

Joy’s way of telling stories
These are adventures first — educational not because they explain everything, but because they make children want to discover more.

Behind the pages, a heart full of wonder
Born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1986, Joy grew up with a dreamy spirit and a deep instinct for the inner world of children. She holds a degree in Educational Sciences and spent more than eleven years in an international school, guiding children from many cultures as they discovered the world — and themselves.
Her stories grow where pedagogy meets travel. Northern Europe, wild water, forests, animals and the quiet questions children ask all find their way into her notebooks. Each place becomes a doorway; each encounter, a new perspective.
Today she lives in Italy, where she walks through woods, observes the smallest details and turns emotions into adventures that respect the natural rhythms of childhood.
