Terms of Sale
Effective from August 17, 2026. These terms govern consumer purchases of printed books from Annapurna Publishing. Mandatory rights under the law of the consumer’s country remain unaffected.
Seller and customer
The seller is Annapurna S.r.l.s., Via Lago Maggiore 6, 36077 Altavilla Vicentina (VI), Italy, tax code and VAT number 04366730242, email info@annapurnapublishing.site. Purchases may be made only by an adult acting as a consumer or with authority to bind the person or organization entered at checkout.
Products and language
The products are English-language, 40-page illustrated paperback books in an 8 × 8 inch square format. Product pages provide the main characteristics. Minor differences in printed color, trim or finish that do not affect conformity may occur. The contract and customer support are available in English and Italian.
Prices, VAT and shipping
Prices are shown in euro and include the VAT calculated for the delivery destination. Free standard shipping is included for supported destinations. The final order summary displays products, quantities, taxes and the total payable before payment. A launch price is not represented as a reduction from a previous price unless the legally required prior-price conditions are satisfied.
Ordering steps and corrections
The customer selects books, reviews and may change the basket, confirms adult status and acceptance of these terms and the returns policy, then continues to Stripe to check contact, billing, tax and delivery information before authorizing payment. Errors can be corrected before payment by returning to the relevant checkout step.
Contract formation and confirmation
Basket placement is not acceptance. The customer’s payment submission is an order. The contract is concluded when payment is accepted and an electronic order confirmation is issued, subject to stock, fraud and delivery checks. The confirmation and invoice provide a durable record; the current terms can also be saved or printed from this page.
Payment and invoice
Payment is processed securely by Stripe using the methods displayed at checkout. Annapurna S.r.l.s. does not store full card details. An invoice or payment document is created electronically using the billing and tax information supplied by the customer and sent or made available through the contact details provided.
Availability and cancellation
Orders are accepted while stock and fulfillment are available. If an item cannot be supplied, the customer will be informed without undue delay and any amount collected for the unavailable item will be refunded. We may refuse or cancel an order for a clear pricing error, failed payment, suspected fraud, legal restriction or unsupported/undeliverable address, refunding amounts already received where appropriate.
Delivery
Paid orders are fulfilled through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment. Unless a different date is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. The Shipping Policy forms part of these terms.
Withdrawal and voluntary returns
EU/EEA consumers have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal described in the Returns, Refunds & EU Withdrawal Policy. Annapurna Publishing additionally offers a voluntary return window up to 30 days after delivery under the conditions stated there.
Legal guarantee
Consumers receive the mandatory legal guarantee for lack of conformity. Under EU rules this protection lasts at least two years from delivery. Available remedies are applied in the order and under the conditions required by applicable law and may include repair or replacement where possible, price reduction or termination/refund. Commercial return rights do not replace the legal guarantee.
Intellectual property
Stories, illustrations, covers, photographs, branding and website content are protected by intellectual-property law and remain with their respective rights holders. Buying a physical copy does not grant reproduction, distribution, adaptation or commercial-use rights.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints should first be sent to info@annapurnapublishing.site with the order number and requested solution. We will respond without undue delay. Where applicable, information about a competent consumer alternative-dispute-resolution body and whether the seller agrees or is required to participate will be provided after an unresolved direct complaint. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer operational.
Liability, law and jurisdiction
Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Italian law applies, but an EU/EEA consumer keeps the mandatory protection of the country of habitual residence. Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts competent under applicable consumer-jurisdiction rules, including the court of their residence where provided by law.
